I am a professional trumpet player and teacher based in Los Angeles, CA. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA where I started playing the trumpet at 11 years old. I have earned a Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance from California State University-Northridge, where I studied with Jon Lewis; and a Master of Music in trumpet performance from the University of Southern California, where I studied with Tom Hooten and Jen Marotta.

I am the second trumpet player with the California Young Artist Symphony based in Los Angeles, CA and I am an associate member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Additionally, I have performed with a variety of ensembles throughout Southern California, including the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Brass Alliance, San Diego Philharmonic, San Luis Obispo Masterchorale, the 5th Floor Brass Quintet, the Two Button Brass Quintet, and The Convertibles. I am also currently a brass instructor with the La Cañada Unified School District, Inglewood Unified School District, Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita, CA, and the Dream Church Youth Orchestra in Pasadena, CA. I have 8 years of experience teaching students aged 5 to 65. Through my instruction, I aim to provide my students tools to refine their skills as musicians.

 

I believe that no matter what role music plays in a persons life, it should bring satisfaction and my mission is to help achieve that.
